Be honest and accurate
List items truthfully — real photos, accurate condition, real availability. Renters describe their intended use accurately and return items on time.
Communicate on ShareGarage
Keep messaging, coordination, and payments on the platform. Off-platform contact removes the safety tools we can offer — verified identities, in-app records, and reporting.
Follow the rules
Honor our Prohibited Items Policy and any additional owner rules. Never use the platform for illegal activity, sexual services, or anything that endangers others.
Resolve issues fairly
Message first, escalate second. If you can't reach an agreement, our resolution team will review chat history, photos, and booking records to help.
Look out for each other
Report suspicious listings, unsafe behavior, or pressure to leave the platform. One report can protect the next neighbor.
