ShareGarage Services Listing Terms
1. Directory Purpose
ShareGarage provides an online directory where independent individuals and businesses can advertise services.
ShareGarage does not perform, book, schedule, supervise, or process payments for advertised services.
Service providers are independent third parties and are not ShareGarage employees, agents, or representatives solely because they advertise on the Platform.
Agreements for services are made directly between providers and customers.
2. Provider Eligibility and Responsibilities
Providers must be at least 18 years old, have authority to advertise their services, and provide accurate information.
Providers are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any legally required licenses, permits, certifications, registrations, and insurance.
Providers must comply with applicable laws and are responsible for their services, customer communications, pricing, scheduling, payments, taxes, cancellations, and disputes.
ShareGarage does not independently verify every provider's identity, credentials, background, licensing, or insurance.
3. Free Services Listings
Services listings are currently free.
ShareGarage does not collect commissions on independently arranged services.
Future paid features, if introduced, will be disclosed separately before charges apply.
4. Listing Accuracy and Content
Providers must submit truthful descriptions, accurate contact information, and photographs genuinely representing their work.
Providers must have the rights and permissions necessary to publish their photographs, logos, descriptions, and links.
Misleading images, false qualifications, impersonation, and unauthorized use of copyrighted content are prohibited.
Providers retain ownership of their original content and grant ShareGarage a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, and promote authorized listing content in connection with the directory.
5. Public Contact Information
Providers must explicitly consent to public display of their business phone number.
Providers may voluntarily provide a public business address, website, social links, and service areas.
Private account email addresses and residential addresses not voluntarily designated as public business information must not be displayed in Services listings.
Providers acknowledge that publicly displayed information can be accessed, copied, or shared by others.
6. Prohibited Services
Illegal services, fraud, deceptive advertising, impersonation, misleading credentials, and violations of applicable ShareGarage policies are prohibited.
ShareGarage may restrict categories or remove listings that present legal, safety, fraud, or Platform-integrity concerns.
7. Moderation and Enforcement
ShareGarage may use automated screening, user reports, and administrative review.
Listings may be held, paused, restricted, or removed, and accounts may be suspended for policy violations, legal compliance, or safety concerns.
Publication does not constitute endorsement, certification, verification, or a guarantee of the provider.
ShareGarage does not guarantee that all fraudulent or inaccurate listings will be detected.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers should independently verify provider qualifications, licensing, insurance, pricing, availability, and suitability.
Customers should use appropriate precautions when hiring providers, making payments, or inviting providers onto their property.
9. Payments and Disputes
Providers and customers arrange all service payments directly outside ShareGarage.
ShareGarage does not process service payments, administer refunds, or manage service cancellations.
Service-related disputes should ordinarily be resolved directly between the customer and provider.
Users may report suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, or policy violations to ShareGarage.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
The Services directory is provided on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShareGarage does not warrant the accuracy of independent provider statements or guarantee service quality, safety, performance, or results.
ShareGarage is not a party to independent service agreements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or waives rights that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
11. Changes and Removal
Providers may pause or remove their listings using available account controls.
ShareGarage may update these Terms with appropriate notice where legally required.
